Child Development & Life Transitions
Do you have a child who is moving from one stage to another? Do you feel lost and uncertain about what comes with parenting a toddler, elementary schooler, or middle schooler? Moving from one stage of your child’s development to the next naturally leads to changes not only for your child and their needs, but in your parenting as well.
Are you entering a new stage of life or have a new change coming up? Transition periods during our lives can be times where we experience the most stress, as things often are changing and the future looks uncertain. Stress during these periods of our lives is very normal, but can also cause worry, anxiety, and impact our interpersonal relationships.
Whether you are moving, getting married, changing jobs, or simply moving from one stage of life to the next, I have experience in helping people navigate development and life transitions. Having a place to process transition and change can be helpful for individuals, children, and families to envision how they want to navigate change. I hope to provide a space where people can grow and enter a new chapter feeling confident and equipped with skills to thrive.

Play Therapy
Play is the language of children. When working with children and teens, it is important for me to find therapy interventions that meet children where they are at and provide therapy in a way they can connect to. In my practice, I utilize Child-Centered Play Therapy, creative and artistic interventions, and directive play therapy interventions.
Positive Discipline
When I work with a child, I work with the whole family. It is important that you as a parent feel confident in navigating the specific needs of your child. As a Certified Positive Discipline educator, we will collaborate about your child’s therapy to give you the skills to raise responsible, compassionate children through parenting that is kind and firm.
Premarital Work
Getting married is one of the biggest decisions you may make in your life, and giving couples tools to prepare for this decision and change is empowering. I am a certified facilitator for Prepare and Enrich, a premarital counseling curriculum that helps provide you with strengths and growth areas for you as a couple, specifically tailoring your premarital counseling experience to you as a couple.
