Yes, I am currently accepting new clients! Currently I am in office on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I offer virtual sessions for Kentucky residents on Mondays.

Intake sessions look a bit different than other sessions. In our intake, we will briefly review the paperwork that you completed prior to your session. We will then discuss what is bringing you to therapy, the goals you have, and explore the process of therapy. I also enjoy using the intake session to get to know a little about you and answer any questions you may have.

I enjoy using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and experiential techniques. I also will incorporate mindfulness into my therapy practice. With couples, I utilize Gottman Method, and with children, I utilize more play-based therapy.

Food allergy counseling is for all of the above! Children, parents, and families can all benefit from food allergy counseling depending what is bringing you in for therapy. Food allergy counseling may help children address anxiety or feel comfortable navigating the world with their allergies. Food allergy counseling can also help parents navigate having a child with a good allergy, as this can also be overwhelming.

Typical sessions last 45 minutes, but occasionally I will offer 30 or 60 minute sessions if needed. Your intake session will take as long as you need, usually lasting between 45-75 minutes depending on how many people attend.

Currently, I do not accept insurance and am out of network with insurance providers. However, I do offer superbills to submit to your insurance company to apply for out of network reimbursement.

I accept most major credit cards for therapy services. If you are coming in person for sessions, I also accept cash and check. If you pay with cash and check, there is a $5 discount off of the session fee.

Yes! I offer telehealth sessions on Mondays for Kentucky residents.

My in person office is at 12945 W US Hwy 42, Prospect, KY 40059. The entrance to my office is on the back of the white and green building.

Your commitment to therapy is important as we work together to meet your therapy goals. If you need to cancel your appointment before we meet, please do so 24 hours in advance before your session. If you need to cancel within the 24 hour window or no-show, I do charge a $75 fee.

As Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, I am working toward full licensure as a therapist in the state of Kentucky. I am currently supervised under Rebecca Street, LMFT, another therapist and an approved supervisor at Creative Family Counseling.
I have received my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, learning about the practice of therapy from a systemic and family perspective. Through my training, I also have completed hundreds of clinical hours working with many different populations of clients in various settings. I also routinely take different Continuing Education (CE) courses to continue learning and developing new skills as a therapist.

If you are needing a session, I do my best to get current clients in as quickly as possible if they are having a crisis. However, I am not a crisis line and am not available for 24/7 care or support.
